Destiny has been rolled out for PS3, PS4, Xbox360 and Xbox One and brings lots of error codes, internet issues, audio problems and other issues. Here are some tips and fixes.

Destiny – Missing Content of Digital Guardian Edition

Own Destiny Digital Guardian Edition and the extra content is missing, close the application, go to PlayStation or Xbox Settings, restore licenses, now go back to Destiny and done.

Destiny – Cattle Error on “Choose Your Class” Screen Fix

Shutdown your Xbox or PlayStation console for 5 minutes, also unplug the power cord. Another possible fix for Cattle error is Hard Reset. Hope it will work.

Destiny – Network Issues and Guide

Destiny is a shared-world shooter that requires a correctly configured and steady internet connection. To avoid losing connection to Destiny, you may need to tweak your home networking setup. Get your console online and ready for the world of Destiny. Several things can be done to improve your network connection or reduce connectivity problems. If you’re having trouble connecting to Destiny or are experiencing a number of errors, here are a few quick tips:

  • Destiny requires a high-speed, broadband internet connection to have the best possible experience. To unlock the full potential of Destiny, PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold is recommended.
  • Wi-Fi is convenient, but it can also be inconsistent and unreliable. Wired connections will maintain the network stability needed for online gaming. Make sure you’re getting the most out of your connection.
  • To get the best experience, your NAT will need to be configured correctly. A Type 1 NAT (PlayStation) or an Open NAT Type (Xbox) is preferred. Learn how to change NAT Types and optimize your networking setup.

Destiny – How to configure NAT settings?

Most of Destiny error codes occur due to internet connectivity issues. You have to apply the NAT settings on your console to improve stability of your internet connection with your machine.

Destiny – Audio Issues and Fixes

It recommends that you use headset for Destiny audio for optimal experience. Here are some tips for consoles:

PlayStation 4: Make sure your system settings set to “Chat Audio,” for optimal use with in-game audio.

PlayStation 3: Make sure system output device is set to “USB Headphone,” “Bluetooth Headphone,” or whichever audio device appears, and your in-game settings should apply correctly.

Xbox 360: Set your system audio settings to “Headset Only” for the best audio experience with any in-game settings.

Xbox One: Since the Xbox One lacks any system settings regarding voice chat and audio, you may choose any in-game settings you wish for the optimal audio experience.

Miscellaneous Notes:

  • When using XP Seven Turtle Beach headphones without the Audio Control Unit will cause players in front of you to neither be quiet, nor will you hear players when switched over to “radio” mode (ie. when the speaker is not close to the player).
  • Make sure your system audio settings match your physical setup – Using system sound settings that’s set to 5.1 or 7.1 on a sound system that only supports stereo (e.g. Samsung TV UN22F5000) will make players behind you quiet.
  • Make sure that platform audio output matches your audio system channel configuration – if you’re only using two speakers or your television speakers, set your platform configuration to Stereo.
  • We are also tracking an issue were players may lose voice functionality in Xbox One Party Chat if the Party app is unsnapped.

Destiny – Xbox One Party Chat Issues

Players may lose voice functionality in Xbox One Party Chat if the Party app is unsnapped. To avoid this issue, please form your Xbox Live Party before launching Destiny, and avoid using the Party chat app in-game. If you wish to chat only within your fireteam, Destiny provides its own Fireteam voice chat functionality, so you can bypass any Party Chat issues by switching your party into Game Chat mode, or by disbanding your Xbox Live Party entirely. Please note that in-game chat functionality is only available to Fireteam members.

You can join a player’s fireteam without forming a party by choosing the “Join Game” option from that player’s Gamercard. Please note, players set to a Strict NAT type may encounter difficulties with voice chat.

Destiny – Error Codes

There are different errors codes have been appearing on Destiny such as Cattle, Boar, Noah’s Ark of Error, Centipede, Chicken, Bee, Groundhog, Hare, Lion, Fly and Gopher. Most of errors come due to internet instability and problems. The developers recommend the NAT setup for better connectivity of Destiny.

Work in progress…
